ADL Valley Director Matthew Friedman gave a presentation on October 22 at Temple Beth Hillel in Valley Village. The topic of the presentation was 100 Years of Anti-Semitism in the U.S. through the prism of ADL’s Centennial. Friedman outlined ADL’s origins in Chicago in 1913 and its achievements and challenges decade by decade over the past century. The presentation was part of Temple Beth Hillel’s ongoing adult education programs as well as one of a series of presentations taking place throughout ADL’s Pacific Southwest Region in honor of ADL’s Centennial.
The program will also take place at Temple Isaiah on December 18 and Sinai Temple on February 12.
