Eighteen members of the 2013-14 Glass Leadership Institute (GLI) class graduated from the ten-month leadership development program on June 17. The evening began with members of the class sharing their positive experiences with the program. Many spoke about pride in their alignment with such an important civil rights organization and their excitement about future involvement with ADL. Regional Board Chair Eric Kingsley shared his experiences with ADL and the GLI program and encouraged the new class to remain involved through committee work and auditing the board.
Following graduation, GLI participants are invited and encouraged to further explore the different facets of ADL’s work by attending Regional Board meetings, joining ADL committees, and remaining involved in the organization’s efforts to develop and cultivate emerging leaders.
The GLI graduation was graciously hosted by NextGen Ambassador and ADL supporter Sharyn Nichols.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2014-15 Glass class. The nomination submission deadline is July 11. Please send nominations to firstname.lastname@example.org
