Adapted from the original story “If Stones Could Cry” by Stephen Glantz (writer of the acclaimed film Wunderkinder.) Fate has taken its toll on the suicidal aging cabaret singer and Holocaust survivor, Ruth, and Jonas, a sickly young man on the run, driven by his own secret. Yet despite their great age difference, they form a intense bond and teach each other about life and love and give each other a reason and purpose to live. A modern day “Harold and Maude.”
