ADL and El Caballero Country Club celebrated the 33rd Annual ADL/El Cab Golf Tournament & Awards Dinner on Wednesday, September 14.  Alan Wiener was honored with the Sam Saltsman Award for his leadership and commitment to ADL, El Caballero and the greater Jewish community.  In his remarks, Mr. Wiener praised ADL for its work to counter hate speech, but added that there is still work to be done to counter what impressionable people may interpret as a license to use hateful and bigoted speech.

Accepting ADL’s Corporate Community Service Award to Providence Tarzana Medical Center was Dale Surowitz, its CEO.  He thanked ADL for working to eradicate the “virus of hate.”
