Educators from throughout Southern California spent three days with ADL and the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) for the recent Echoes and Reflections Summer Symposium. From June 15-17, educators studied with staff from ADL, LACOE, the Museum of Tolerance and the USC Shoah Foundation at the campus of USC and the Museum of Tolerance. Participants received numerous resources, including Echoes and Reflections – Leaders in Holocaust Education, and materials from the Museum of Tolerance, LACOE, and the Anne Frank Center USA.
Special emphasis was placed on teaching about Anne Frank using Echoes and Reflections and other sources. For more information on ADL’s Holocaust Education programs, please contact us.
