A gathering of top donors was held March 16 at Jar Restaurant. Nearly 60 of ADL’s most dedicated leaders attended the event which included a meal prepared by celebrity chef Suzanne Tracht and wine donated by OneHope Wine.
The guest of honor was ADL National Director Abraham Foxman, who thanked the donors for their steadfast support of ADL and noted how far we have come, yet how much there is still to do. “We’ve made a lot of progress, but the challenges remain huge. We can’t promise your children or grandchildren that they will not need an ADL.”
In recognition that Foxman has announced his retirement in July, donors also stood to recognize and thank him for 50 years of service to ADL. Executive Committee member Josh Kheel mentioned his 48 years of service and paid special tribute to Foxman as THE major voice in the Jewish community and around the world.
