Over 50 people attended ADL’s annual NextGen summer event on June 25 at the ADL office.  The evening program included the West Coast launch of the graphic novel Mike’s Place, the story of a popular Tel Aviv blues bar that was the target of a deadly suicide bombing, and a showing of the 2005 film Blues by the Beach, the documentary on which the graphic novel was based.  After the movie, author and director Jack Baxter was on hand to provide a firsthand account of the bombing and answer questions.

Each attendee received a signed copy of Mike’s Place.  This collaborative event was made possible by presenting sponsor Marty Salvin.
