ADL was a partner at the City of Carson 23rd Annual Youth Conference, One Team, One Dream, on March 28.  ADL held several Becoming An Ally workshops and provided resources and information on bullying prevention and what students can do in their own schools. The workshops focused on learning the warning signs and definitions of bullying, the roles people can play in instances of bullying, and bullying prevention and intervention skills.

Students also learned about the City’s Bullying Prevention and Awareness Campaign Contest, a competition for mixed media projects that promote bullying prevention and awareness.  The contest runs through April 13, 2015 and students can participate at elementary, middle and high school levels.

ADL also provided a Becoming An Ally workshop which provided school and community based organization staff who serve Carson students with tools for preventing bullying prevention and creating bias-free environments for the young people that they serve.
